From the North:
South on Rt. 55 (Eisenhower Expressway) to Rt. 80 exit. Follow Rt. 80
East to the Houbolt Road exit. Travel North on Houbolt Road approximately
1 mile and turn right (East) on McDonough Street. East on McDonough
approximately 1/2 mile until you see the River Valley Justice Center on
your right. Ample public parking is available in the River Valley Justice
Center parking lot.
From the South:
Head North on Rt. 59 (Larkin Avenue) to McDonough Street which is the
first stoplight North of Rt. 80. Turn left (West) on McDonough
approximately 3 miles until you see the River Valley Justice Center on
your left. Ample public parking is available in the River Valley Justice
Center parking lot.
From the East:
Take Jefferson Street West to Larkin Avenue (South). Proceed
approximately 1/2 South on Larkin Aveune to McDonough Street. Turn left
(West) on McDonough approximately 3 miles until you see the River Valley
Justice Center on your left. Ample public parking is available in the
River Valley Justice Center parking lot.
From the West:
Take Jefferson Street East to Houbolt Road (South). Proceed
approximately 1 mile South on Houbolt Road to McDonough Street. Turn left
(East) on McDonough approximately 1/2 mile until you see the River Valley
Justice Center on your right. Ample public parking is available in the
River Valley Justice Center parking lot.
River Valley Justice Center Information:
River Valley Justice Center (RVJC) normal operating hours are 8:30—4:30
Monday—Friday. Items that may not be brought into the RVJC include (but
are not limited to) the following:
Weapons (or any item that may be used as a weapon in the opinion of the
Court Security Officers)
Recording devices
Cameras (without the permission of the Chief Judge)
Scissors
Pepper sprays or Mace
Food or beverages
Pursuant to Administrative Order 95-47, the amendment to modified
amended Administrative Order 93-6 of the Circuit Court of Will County, the
following rules shall apply within the courtrooms, hallways, stairwells
and other public areas of the River Valley Justice Center:
No wearing of stocking caps or hats having bills, beaks or visors in
the courthouse.
No use of profanities.
No display, demonstration, publication and / or throwing of gang
signs.
No fighting.
No obstructing the movement of any person within the courthouse.
No wearing of chain belts, and metal belts resembling weapons and
ammunition.
